Emergency Walk-In Hours

Monday–Thursday

9:00 AM–11:00 AM
2:00 PM–3:00 PM

We normally have two doctors and a full staff available during these hours, allowing us to accommodate emergency patients when possible.

Because staffing can vary from day to day, we strongly recommend calling our office before coming in. On days when we are short-staffed, we may not be able to accept emergency walk-ins.

Call Apple Dental Center at (760) 242-7753 before coming to the office.

What Dental Problems Are Considered Emergencies?

Contact us if you are experiencing:

  • Severe or persistent tooth pain
  • A broken, cracked, or badly damaged tooth
  • A lost or broken filling or crown
  • Swelling of the gums, face, or jaw
  • A suspected dental infection or abscess
  • A knocked-out or severely loosened tooth
  • Significant bleeding or dental trauma
  • Other dental problems that require prompt attention

If you’re unsure whether your situation is a dental emergency, call our office. Our staff can help determine the best course of action.

What Can We Do for a Dental Emergency?

Depending on the problem, our doctors may be able to provide treatment such as:

  • Evaluation and diagnosis of the problem
  • Treatment of tooth pain
  • Emergency fillings or restorations
  • Repair or replacement of damaged crowns or fillings
  • Root canal treatment when appropriate
  • Tooth extraction when necessary
  • Treatment of dental infections
  • Temporary treatment to relieve pain and protect a damaged tooth

Our goal is to address the immediate problem, relieve discomfort when possible, and determine what additional treatment may be needed to restore your dental health.

When Should You Go to the Emergency Room?

Some situations require immediate medical attention rather than treatment in a dental office.

If you have severe facial swelling that is affecting your ability to breathe or swallow, uncontrolled bleeding, or a serious facial or head injury, seek emergency medical care immediately.

For other urgent dental problems, call Apple Dental Center and we will do our best to help.
